The wannabe Dries pants

I have found my new favorite item of clothing (besides my leather trousers obviously), my new dip dyed jeans. Notice how similar they are to the Dries Van Noten ones that are proving very popular this season, well mine are from Zara!

I have been wearing mine non stop lately. There are so many different ways in which you can create outfits with these jeans, they are so versatile. I also think that they look a lot better as boyfriend jeans and I wanted mine to be fairly baggy, so I got the size up. I have worn them with a black jumper and studded loafers, a plain white t-shirt with a gold necklace and sandals when the weather was warmer and I have also worn them with a denim shirt, I don't usually think that I can pull of the double denim look however one morning I just decided to try something different and it actually worked well with a few accessories.

Insta-style

I realise that I have been neglecting my blog lately, however there is a very valid explanation behind this. I have had my exams for the past few weeks which means I have been working non-stop to meet deadlines. I am so exited at the minute, as a I have now completely finished my first year of sixth form and I have decided not to carry on next year, I am starting a fashion course in September. I am literally dying to start it now, there is nothing else that I could see myself doing other than fashion, there are no other options for me. I have known this since the age of 10 when me and my best friend made our very own fashion magazine!

So anyway, as I haven't posted much in the past few weeks I have decided to share the pictures from my instagram, hopefully this will give you a little insight into my life in the past few weeks.

Russian muse

I have decided to dedicate this post to two of my style icons. Natasha Goldenberg and Aziza Azim. I would defiantly say that I get the most part of my inspiration from them, my thought process when I get dressed in the morning tends to factor their style into what I wear. I love the way that they put different items together and make it work so well. I have no better way to describe their style than downtown chic. I adore the Isabel Marant sneakers paired with Chanel or Celine handbags and Marni necklaces. I am yet to see either of them in an outfit that I do not like! I have selected a couple of my favourites to share with you

Mulberry and swirls

It can either take me the total of 30 seconds to decide what to wear or it can take me hours. Sometimes I have days where I feel like I have absolutely nothing to wear but today I knew exactly which look I wanted and what accessories it should be paired with. I usually detest designer 'logos' on clothing or bags however I adore this shirt. I just love the colours and pattern, even if it the Paul Smith trade mark. I paired it with my trusty black Victoria Beckham jeans and Chelsea boots. This is my favorite handbag, it took forever to get because it seemed to sold out in every store! It was rather chilly today as well so I have put on my lovely River Island coat, I normally never see anything I like this store however when I saw this coat I just had to have it!
